Replit is a full development workspace in the cloud with an AI agent in it, starting at $25 a month for Core and billed in credits. It is a serious tool for people who write software. KAppMaker AI is narrower on purpose. One machine, yours, that builds native Android apps overnight and takes its instructions from a Telegram chat, from $14.99 a month with the AI on your own Claude plan.

It is a far bigger and more capable product. You get a real editor, a terminal, databases, hosting, collaborators and the ability to run up to ten agents in parallel on the top plan. If you write code, or want to, Replit will take you a lot further than we ever will.
It is also better if your project is not a mobile app. We only do one thing.
Replit has a free Starter plan, Core at $25 a month with $25 of monthly credits and up to 2 agents at once, and Pro at $100 a month with $100 of credits and up to 10 agents. Work is paid for in credits, and there is pay as you go beyond them. Checked August 2026.
The work happens on Replit's servers rather than on your laptop, so it is not tied to your machine the way a local tool is. What you are paying attention to is credits rather than uptime. When the credits run out, the work stops.
Replit is a general development environment, so a determined developer can push it in many directions. Out of the box it is aimed at web apps and services that it hosts for you, not at producing an Android app for the Play Store.
Who it is for. Replit is a developer tool that happens to have an AI agent, and it expects you to be comfortable with code. We are a machine that builds Android apps for someone who never wants to see code, driven entirely from a Telegram chat.
